Hockliffe village is located at the foot of the Chilterns and is centred on the A5 which is the old Roman road running between Chester and London, known as Watling Street.

Dunstable, Luton, Milton Keynes and Woburn are all within easy reach for shopping and leisure requirements. Hockliffe itself has a range of local shops, including a post office, pub/restaurant and an excellent primary School. Nursery and secondary school needs are provided for in nearby Leighton Buzzard.
Other attractions include Woburn which is noted for its fine architecture and superb range of restaurants. Woburn Safari park, set in an area of 3,000 acres, boasts white rhinos, lions, tigers and giraffes within it's impressive list of species. About 9 miles away lies Milton Keynes with it's wide variety of shopping experiences and activities including skiing and indoor skydiving, together with walking and cycling on the many paths.
The market town of Leighton Buzzard offers local amenities including shops and supermarkets together with it's mainline station and is only 3 miles distant. This provides for a frequent service into London Euston in about 50 minutes.
